Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 4, 2026

TejoTime is committed to making TejoTime usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. This statement describes where we stand today, what we know is not finished, and how to tell us when something does not work.

1. Our commitment

Booking an appointment should not depend on being able to see a screen, use a mouse, or read small text. We treat accessibility as part of building the product rather than as a later cleanup, and we take reported barriers seriously.

This commitment covers our marketing website, the public booking pages we host for businesses, and our owner and staff apps.

2. Conformance status

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

TejoTime is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We have listed the gaps we know about in section 4 rather than claiming a level we have not verified.

3. What we have implemented

The following are in place across our public pages today:

  • A declared page language, semantic headings, and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate structure.
  • Text that scales with browser and device settings — we do not lock zoom or set a maximum scale on mobile.
  • Reduced-motion support: animations and transitions are suppressed when your system requests reduced motion.
  • Accessible names on navigation, menu buttons, and interactive controls, including expanded and controlled-element state on the mobile menu.
  • Tab semantics on the product tour so it can be operated and announced as a tab set.
  • Decorative images marked so assistive technology can skip them.
  • Layouts built to reflow on small screens and at high zoom without horizontal scrolling.

4. Known limitations

We are aware of the following and are working on them:

  • Visible focus indicators are not yet styled consistently across every custom control, which makes keyboard position harder to track in places.
  • There is no “skip to main content” link yet on the marketing pages.
  • Photographs, service descriptions, and business names are uploaded by the businesses that use TejoTime. We cannot guarantee that business-supplied images carry meaningful alternative text, and we are adding guidance and prompts to help owners provide it.
  • Some product demonstration areas on the homepage are illustrative and are being reviewed for full screen-reader parity with the underlying product.
  • Colour contrast is being audited across every theme variation rather than only the default one.

5. Compatibility

TejoTime is designed to work with current versions of major browsers — Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox — on desktop and mobile, used together with the assistive technology available on those platforms.

The site relies on JavaScript for some interactive areas. If you encounter a page that does not work with your setup, tell us and we will help you complete what you were trying to do.

6. Technical specifications

Accessibility of TejoTime relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA, and on the combination of those technologies with the browser and assistive technology installed on your device.

7. How we assess accessibility

Our current assessment is a self-evaluation carried out by our own team using automated checks and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.

We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party audit. When we do, we will update this statement with the date and scope of that review.

8. Feedback and requests

If you run into a barrier on any TejoTime page, we want to know. Email support@tejotime.com and, where you can, include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you what we are doing and offer another way to complete your task in the meantime.

If you need to book an appointment and the booking page is not working for you, contact the business directly — their phone number and address are listed on their TejoTime page.

9. Escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response, reply to our email and ask for the report to be escalated. We will review it again and respond with our conclusion.

This statement will be reviewed and updated as we address the limitations listed above.
